A sold-out ballroom of more than 520 were wowed by a spectacular night of celebrity dancing in an evening of fun and fundraising at the fourth annual Movers & Shakers Gala, a benefit for Lakeland College and the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, held May 21 at Lakeland. Dana Bemis won top honors for the night as her spirited version of the Latin medley earned her the Movers & Shakers Gala title for 2011. Votes for Bemis also benefited the Sheboygan County YMCA. 2010
A sold-out ballroom of over 400 guests were wowed by a spectacular night of celebrity dancing in an evening of fun and fundraising at the third annual Movers & Shakers Gala, a benefit for Lakeland College and the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra held May 22 at Lakeland. Paula Gentine accepted the 2010 Movers & Shakers Gala title for her hot and spicy version of the salsa May 22 at Lakeland College. This star-studded night featured seven well-known celebrities in a glamorous setting complete with red-carpet glitz and gourmet cuisine. Lakeland's Todd Wehr Center was transformed into a beautiful ballroom, including a dance floor framed by wall-to-wall carpeting, a massive lighting setup and huge video screens that put a who's who of Sheboygan County in the spotlight. 2009

This star-studded night featured nine well-known area celebrities in a glamorous setting complete with red-carpet glitz and gourmet cuisine. Michael Stayer-Suprick danced the cha cha and took home the first title, topping a field that included some of Sheboygan County’s biggest names. Stayer-Suprick is president of West Shore Industries, specializing in consumer displays and exhibits, and a veteran of service to non-profit organization boards throughout Sheboygan. |
